
In Western Africa under a blazing sun, stands a forest of baobabs and in the middle of
this forest, a huge and ancient baobab. One day, this ancient baobab brings forth an
egg. From this egg is born a little boy. But who is he? All the people in the village take
care of him and he becomes known as “the little boy who had an entire village for
parents". In search for his roots, he will discover that is the only one who can dig into
the heart of the baobab to release the source of the water…
In December 2007, Motus produced an outdoor theatre event: BUBBLES, winter legends for
micro-puppets. Three hot-air bubbles made up of white material that allows people to see both
from the outside and the inside, light projections and shadows. Three different short plays run simultaneously in the bubbles: an Indian legend, Otjiera and the dream fast; an Inuit legend, Élisapie and the northern lights and a Quebec legend, The flying-canoe. In small groups of 25 per bubble, spectators step inside and see in turn the three legends that make up this theatre route.
Inuussia, the seal woman premiered in September 2005 at the World Festival of the Arts for Young People followed by performances at the Maison Théâtre. Inuusia toured successfully throughout the province of Quebec, and its Spanish version toured in Mexico and in Spain.

Created in January 2004,Terrible Twohas criss-crossed Quebec and France. In February 2004 during the Bourse Rideau event, the production was awarded the Prix du Cirque du Soleil, emphasizing the boldness, originality and quality of an artistic project devised by emerging professionals. With already over 150 performances held in Quebec and France, Terrible Two will soon return both in its original version and its new English one.
With its first production, BellyButton, Théâtre Motus met with a true artistic success. The production appreciated by young and old alike will have logged over 200 performances. Moreover, it toured Canada, the United States, Mexico, France and Greece.
