2008-2009 is almost over! A look back on a busy season BAOBAB: already 35 presentations and things are just warming up! Baobab, our latest creation, opened at Théâtre de la Ville last January before moving on to Les trois jours de Casteliers festival, the National Arts Centre, Terrebonne, Les Gros Becs and Les Petits Bonheurs. It is during next Christmas season that Baobab will be opening its second season at the Maison Théâtre playhouse with some 30 performances, 14 of which are already sold out. Next, the cast and crew will be touring Québec for 3 months and then flying to western Canada. A quick-moving hit season is in store! BULLES, winter legends for micro-puppets The winter winds echoe out to Gaspé! After its successful run at the Coups de Théâtre festival in November 2008 in Montreal, BUBBLES was back on tour last March to meet Gaspé audiences during the Festival des neiges, organized as part of the 475th anniversary festivities of the city. More thrilling projects are in the works for this festive theatre run and we will be giving you the latest details very soon.

Théâtre Motus held its annual benefit evening last June 10 at Théâtre de la Ville. Mr Jacques Goyette, Vice President of the Executive Committee of Ville de Longueuil was the honorary president of the event. The evening was hosted by Sylvain Massé, both artisitic codirector and Board President of Théâtre Motus. Close friends Nathalie Cora, Stéphan Côté, Louis-Philippe Dandenault, Muriel Dutil, Vincent Graton, Aboulaye Koné, Anick Lemay, Widemir Normil, Philippe Racine and Pierre Verville were on hand and helped collect over $16,000! A huge thank you to our Honorary President, our patrons, fellow artists, donators and sponsors! We will soon be back with the latest on our projects and wish you all a great summer season.
